Due to the inclement weather turning Duffy's into a swimming pool, the non-comp Presentation Day has now been scheduled for Duffy's, Sunday, 14th September. The draft timing for age groups is:
Please check back for confirmed times and any further information and the junior comp Presentation Day schedule.
Unfortunately due to the continuing wet weather TUFC have had to cancel the rescheduled upcoming U/6 and U/7 Gala Day. Please be patient as we work with the Committee to refund your entry fee.
Gear collection will be on again this week on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30pm to 7pm at Duffy's. Shirts need to be WASHED and ideally placed back in the bag folded in numerical order to speed up the return process. Additionally, all shirts need to be returned in one kit bag, otherwise it is extremely difficult to match the separate shirts with their corresponding kit.
Any remaining raffle tickets can also be handed across at the same time.
All team kits and balls from all teams that have finished for the season can be returned on Thursday August 21 between 5:30pm and 7pm (and also at the Gala Day). Please ensure all shirts and vests are washed and all balls are returned as these items will be checked off against what you were issued with at the start of the season.
Gala Day U6/U7 teams and Finals teams are not required to return shirts and balls as yet.
2014 Monster Raffle tickets will be collected at Duffys Canteen this Thursday August 21 between 5:30pm and 7pm (and also at the Gala Day). Please return all monies and tickets in an envelope with team name and players names who contributed to raffle. This is TUFC major fundraising event for 2014 and its success relies on all to contribute for the chance to win a piece of the $3,000 prize pool.
The Non-Comp Presentation Day will be held at Duffy's Oval on Sunday, the 31st of August, starting around 10 am. We should have a Jumping Castle and the Canteen will be open, so it should be a fun day for the kids. Full details will be confirmed closer to the date.
Alice, Lauren and Bronte from the TUFC U14's and Terrigal High School (and Phoebe Rudd - not pictured) have all been selected to represent NNSW/Central Coast at the upcoming National Schools Futsal Championships.
The Schools Nationals will be held in September in Bendigo, Victoria. Teams from all around Australia will be attending making this the biggest Nationals school games in Australia.
Congratulations to former Terrigal United FC junior and now CCF referee, Mitch Lyons for his voluntary participation in the 2014 Kanga Cup Football Tournament in Canberra. This week long tournament is the biggest junior soccer competition in the Southern Hemisphere, hosting 270 teams, with 40 referees from Australia and New Zealand in charge of hundreds of matches. Mitchell's efforts were rewarded with the presentation of the coveted Junior Referee of the tournament award at the Closing Ceremony.
We wish Mitch continued success with his refereeing career.
